8/4/26 - Summer Feature Round-Up: Connect Your AI Assistant, Talk to Oppy, Variant Options, and More
The last month was our biggest release wave yet. Here is everything that landed, with links to the new guides.
Connect Claude and other AI assistants to your data (MCP). You can now plug Claude, Codex, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant straight into your Organizely data and ask it questions about your catalog, stock, orders, purchase orders, suppliers, and more. Access is read-only by design: your assistant can look things up and analyze, but it can never change anything in your store. Create a personal credential under Settings > MCP and follow the new guide: Connect AI assistants to Organizely (MCP) . Available on every plan.
Oppy now proposes, you approve. Oppy can do far more than answer questions: it can draft purchase orders, adjust stock, create suppliers, build work orders, write SOPs, and much more. Every change Oppy wants to make is staged as an approval card, so nothing happens until you read the exact change and press Approve. There is a new org-wide Approvals inbox, batch approval for multi-part answers, and multi-step plans that unlock as you approve each step. Admins can allow specific low-risk change types to apply automatically, with a daily cap. Guide: Oppy approvals
Call or text Oppy. Verify your phone number under Oppy AI > Phone and you can literally call Oppy and talk through your stock, orders, and suppliers, or text it like a coworker. Calls are transcribed into your private chat, and anything Oppy wants to change from a call still goes through approval in the app. Guide: Call or text Oppy
A rebuilt Oppy chat. Watch Oppy's progress as a live step list, stop a response, add guidance mid-answer, rewind a conversation, get charts in your answers, tap a suggested link that jumps you to the right page, and follow long jobs on a live checklist. Oppy also keeps a per-user memory of your preferences that you can review and clear in Oppy AI > Settings, and you can ask it to do things later ("text me tomorrow with overdue POs") and manage them on the new Scheduled tab. Variant options, like Size and Color. Products can now carry up to 3 options that generate a variant for every combination, with an options editor, a wizard that converts existing free-text variants to options without recreating anything, and inbound/outbound option sync with Shopify. This is rolling out gradually to existing accounts. Guide: Variant options
Smarter stock counting. Stock adjustments gained a shelf-count entry mode (type what you counted, Organizely files the difference), and adjustment previews now project the numbers Shopify will show before you commit. Inventory labels across the app were also renamed to match Shopify's vocabulary: what you saw as "On hand" is now Available, and "Derived" is now Buildable. Stocktakes gained notes (on the count and on each line), plus search, filters, and a Created-by column.
Demand planning that explains itself. Click any row in Demand Planning to see exactly why a quantity is recommended: a weekly demand chart, a line-by-line calculation, and a confidence rating. Reorder recommendations now also subtract stock already on the way (open POs, in-transit transfers), so you never double-order, and creating a PO from Demand Planning arrives fully prefilled with supplier, SKUs, and costs.
Purchasing quality-of-life. Every PO line can carry an internal note that suppliers never see. Emailing a PO can now include the PO's uploaded files (with big files sent as expiring download links). Costs accept up to 4 decimal places for fractional-unit pricing, and you can find variants by typing a supplier's own SKU into any search box.
Control what imports from Shopify. New never-import rules let you exclude Shopify products by tag or status (draft, archived) from every import and live sync, with a review queue for products already imported. Enterprise plan. A fourth plan tier for high-volume and multi-brand operations: unlimited variants, orders, users, and sales history, a dedicated account manager, onboarding and migration support, and priority SLA support. Request pricing from the plan picker, and our team will reach out within 24 hours.
Business Intelligence API expansion. The read-only API now serves products, variants, per-location inventory levels, store locations, inventory adjustments, adjustment reasons, and suppliers alongside purchase orders, all with cursor pagination and incremental sync, plus Shopify IDs on records so you can join back to your store data. And a handful of table upgrades. The Products, Adjustments, Orders, Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and Demand Planning lists share a new toolbar with sorting and grouping, and your filter choices are written into the URL so views can be bookmarked and shared. Cancelled orders are now excluded from analytics and forecasting. You can paste an Organizely record ID from any URL or export into a search box to jump straight to that record, and admins can pin displayed timestamps to the business's timezone under Settings > Advanced.
6/2/26 - Official Launch on Shopify App Store
We have officially launched on the Shopify App Store ! This means no more lengthy onboarding that involves copying and pasting API keys. Simply click and install.
2/14/26 - Material + Component Tracking Released
We now have official support for raw material and component tracking! Any variant can be a component of another variant, and all inventory and ratios are automatically kept in sync by Organizely.

2/07/26 - Improved UI for Automation Flow
Previously, setting up generic inventory automations required complex JSON structures. Now, we've built out an easy to use automation flow builder. Simply create a trigger and a chain of actions!
1/27/26 - Task Board for Task Tracking
You can now use Organizely to track miscellaneous tasks across your team. No need to pay for an expensive 3rd party tool for basic task tracking!
Tasks can have assignees, due dates, comments, and todo-lists, all in one place!
1/15/26 - Multi-Location Shopify Support
You can now use Organizely to track inventory across your multi-location Shopify store! This change is automatic, and you'll notice when editing variants, the quantities are split through locations:
11/16/25 - Custom Alerts for Products & Weekly Summaries
Get e-mailed when products drop below a set amount! Also, receive a weekly e-mail summarizing what products to re-order + a sales summary of the past week.
11/07/25 - ShopAI Chat Bot Released

Over the past few months, we’ve been using Organizely internally at Kinetic Labs to completely reinvent how we handle inventory.
