Prebuilt reports let you turn your live inventory, sales, and cost data into a table you can read on screen or hand off as a CSV or PDF. Alongside those on-demand reports, Organizely surfaces analytics on your home dashboard and history on individual products, orders, and suppliers, so you can dig into a single record or pull a business-wide summary whenever you need it.
On-demand reports
The Reports area (Reports in the sidebar) lets you run a prebuilt report, narrow it with optional filters, review the results in a paginated table, and export it. Pick a report, set any filters it offers, run it, then read or download the output.
Available reports
The report picker offers these reports:
Average Unit Cost : weighted average landed cost per variant across received purchases.
Sales by Item : units sold and revenue per variant over the window you choose (needs a date range).
Low Stock : variants at or below their reorder point, ranked by urgency.
KPI Summary : headline KPIs (revenue, orders, units, and average order value) for the window you choose (needs a date range).
Stock on Hand : current on-hand quantity and inventory value per variant.
COGS and Profit : cost of goods sold and gross profit over the window you choose (needs a date range).
Inventory Value Trend : total inventory value over time across the window you choose (needs a date range).
Purchase Orders : purchase orders with their status, totals, and supplier.
Work Orders : work orders with their status and planned versus built quantities.
Stock Adjustments : manual stock adjustments (write-offs, corrections) over the window you choose (needs a date range).
Transfers : inventory transfers between locations, with origin, destination, and quantities.
When you pick a report, a short one-line description of what it covers appears, and the controls update to show only what that report accepts: a date range for time-based reports, and vendor, category, or store-location filters where they apply. Reports that take no filters simply run.
Run a report
Open Reports from the sidebar.
Choose a report from the Report picker.
If the report needs a date range (for example Sales by Item or KPI Summary), set a Start date and an End date. The report will not run until both are set.
If the report supports filtering, pick any Vendor, Category, or Location values you want to scope to. Leave a filter empty to include everything.
Select Run report .
Review the results table and the totals row beneath it.
Tip: Within a single filter, picking more than one value widens the results. Choosing two vendors returns rows for either vendor. Leaving every filter empty runs the report across your whole catalog.
Read the results
The results appear in a table, with each column formatted for its data type (currency, whole numbers, decimals, or dates).
A totals row is pinned to the bottom when the report supports one. It summarizes the full result set, not just the page you are viewing.
The results are paginated. Move between pages with the pager, and change how many rows show per page.
A timestamp shows when the report was generated.
If a very large report is clipped, a note tells you the results were truncated so you can refine your filters or export the full set.
Export to CSV or PDF
Run the report first.
Select Export CSV for a spreadsheet-friendly file, or Export PDF for a formatted document.
The file downloads with the current filters and date range applied, and it includes every matching row, not just the page you are viewing.
Note: The export buttons stay disabled until you have run the report, and they use whatever filters and date range are currently set.
Analytics on the home dashboard
Your home overview is the quickest at-a-glance view of the business. Admins see an analytics dashboard with key metrics, trends, and account setup progress. Team members who are not admins (workers and managers) see a shortcuts panel that links to the operational areas available to their role instead of the dashboard.
History and analytics on individual records
Beyond reports and the dashboard, many records carry their own history and analytics:
Products : a product's detail page includes inventory distribution by location, sales and order patterns, and a full audit log of changes (its History tab).
Orders : an order's detail page tracks its status, profitability (COGS, gross profit, and margin), and a History tab of changes.
Suppliers : a supplier's detail page tracks purchasing history and performance, with its own History tab.
Note: Access to the Reports area can be controlled per role. An admin can adjust which roles reach it under Team → Roles and Permissions.
