Billing is where an admin manages your Organizely subscription: the plan you are on, your payment method, and your billing history and invoices. You will find it at Settings → Billing.
Who can manage billing
Billing is an admin area. By default, only Admins can open Settings → Billing and make changes. An admin can also grant the Billing permission to another role (in Team → Roles and Permissions) or to a specific person (as a per-user permission override), so a non-admin can be given access. Team members without that permission do not see Billing in their Settings menu.
Plans
Organizely has three subscription tiers. Each one raises the usage limits (team members, product variants, and monthly orders) and unlocks more of the platform.

Up to 1,000 variants
Up to 2,000 monthly orders
3 years of sales-history import (longer history means better forecasting)

How your subscription is billed
Organizely bills through one of two systems, depending on how your organization signed up. The Billing page shows the one that applies to you.
Stripe : used by organizations that signed up directly through the Organizely site or connected via a custom-app integration. You manage everything from the Billing page and the Stripe billing portal.
Shopify Billing : used by organizations that installed Organizely from the Shopify App Store. Shopify policy requires these merchants to be billed through Shopify, so your plan and payments are managed inside the Organizely app in your Shopify admin.
Managing a Stripe subscription
Choose a plan or subscribe
Go to Settings → Billing.
Under Available Plans, review Starter, Pro, and Scale.
Click the plan's button (Subscribe, or Start Free Trial if you are new) to open secure Stripe checkout.
Complete payment. You are returned to Billing with a confirmation that your subscription is active.
Switch to a different plan
On the Billing page, find the plan you want.
Click Switch Plan on any plan card to open the Stripe billing portal.
Choose your new plan and confirm the change in the portal. Your current plan is marked with a Current Plan badge on the page.
Update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel
Click Manage Billing (or Open Billing Portal, under Billing Information).
In the Stripe billing portal you can update your payment method, download invoices and billing history, and manage or cancel your subscription.
Note: If you schedule a cancellation, the Billing page shows a "Scheduled for cancellation" date. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. A cancelled plan shows a Resubscribe option so you can pick it back up.
Managing a Shopify-billed subscription
If your organization installed Organizely through the Shopify App Store, your subscription is billed and managed through Shopify.
When you have an active plan, the Billing page shows a "Current Subscription (Shopify Billing)" card with your plan name, price, and status. To change plans, update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel, manage the subscription from your Shopify admin.
If you have not chosen a plan yet, or your Shopify subscription has lapsed, the Billing page shows a "Choose your plan in Shopify" card with an "Open Organizely in Shopify" button. Click it to open the Organizely app in your Shopify admin and pick a plan there.
Note: If a Shopify-billed subscription is cancelled but the paid period has not ended, Billing shows an "Access ends" date. Organizely keeps working until that date. Choose a new plan inside the Organizely app in your Shopify admin to continue afterward. Your settings, locations, and imported data stay in place either way.
Subscription status and renewal
The Billing page always shows where your subscription stands:
A status badge (such as active, trialing, or cancelled) next to your plan name.
Your next billing date while the subscription is active.
A warning if the subscription is cancelled, past due, or no longer active, including the date your access ends.
First-time subscriber offer
New organizations that have never subscribed start with a 14-day free trial, then get 50% off for the first 3 months. On the Stripe checkout path, the plan cards show the discounted price and the trial before you subscribe. The same first-time offer applies whether you are billed through Stripe or Shopify Billing.
